Niraj Bhatia is a graduate of USC and founder of Om Films.
Niraj wants to use art and media to inspire and influence change. He has executive produced multiple award-winning films. Many of which accomplish social education, cultural exploration and exposure to diverse environments and points of view.
One of his greatest passions is technology. His expansive philanthropic work includes finding innovative ways to integrate technology into advancing communities and battling their deficiencies in the basic tenets of human life. Recently, his work with Water Underground — a non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to clean water, sanitation and income generation to impoverished communities — integrated solar technology to power water wells and pumps.
He possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, founding and collaborating with a number of startups varying in size and industry; and is a fierce advocate for social responsibility. As CEO and Founder of Sirca, a mobile navigation app, Niraj advocates for the protection of data privacy and using technology ethically. He is also on the board of This Saves Lives, a snack food company that donates life-saving food to a child in need every time consumers purchase a bar.
A man of sartorial elegance and talented restaurateur, Niraj has also invested in Japanese designer Matsuda Eyewear and holds a diverse set of restaurants to his name. He splits his time between Marina Del Rey, California and Dallas, Texas.
